The clothes sometimes also get caught in the front top of the drum at the very top. Would it be the rear drum bearing? I don't mind fixing it as long as I can figure out the correct part to order.

You will have to open it up and check the rear support bearing and the front glides/support Item 454 in Section 2. lso check the belt and the idler roller. Here is a good site that should be useful http://www.applianceaid.com/dryers.html Thanks Denman - In taking the dryer apart the whole entire top of the drum support is worn and cracked so I will replace that whole piece along with the 3 glides. All other parts look ok. I would have never thought to look there if you hadn't mentioned the front glides. Thanks again
