My husband recently replaced the heating coils and when he reassembled the dryer and plugged it in nothing happened. We know it is wired right because he wrote the correct wiring down before he disconnected the wires. He thinks the door switch is fine too. What else can we check?

Make sure he plugged the door switch back up as it might came unplugged or some people unplug it when they take the front panel off?If it is plugged up he might need to go back in and check the all of the sensors and make sure nothing is touching on the heating element he installed as if it is touching something it will blow one of the thermal safety switch which will not let it do nothing.I hate to say this but first check to make sure the breaker has not kicked off on you before you do all the work of happen to take it apart again?

I have checked all connections and checked continuity where I could. The dryer ran before I changed the heating coils and now it wont even light up on the control panel. Am wondering if the transformer in control panel could be bad?
