Help with GE Profile Harmony dryer no heat or blower
Model Number: DPGT750EC1PL Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi, I have been trying to trouble shoot this dryer I have. I first run the field service mode and it showed "The blower is not getting up to speed". I then disassembled the dryer and checked the ohms on the blower motor including all 3 sets of wires (r/r, b/b, y/y). It checked out fine. Not sure where to go from here. I was thinking the thermistor? A big concern of mine is that I noticed a orange wire that went to the heater was blown back off the terminal and melted. I traced it back to the PWB from the wiring diagram but I am not sure what might have caused it and what to check for?
