Maria Camacho In order to help you better we need the complete model number of your dryer. You can find it on the door frame, on top of the console or on the right side of the cabinet on the very bottom. Unfortunately the model number you supplied is incorrect. Gene

Put the timer on a "No Heat", or "Air Fluff" cycle. Start the dryer and see if you hear the motor. If you heaar the motor, you have a broken belt. If there's no motor noise, you'll need to replace the motor. Part number: AP2946843
