GE gas dryer doesn't heat
Model Number: DSXH43GV1WW Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Early this year our gas dryer stopped heating, otherwise it seems to work fine - spins and blows air without noises. I replaced the ignitor and when I run the cotton cycle with the lid open, I look down where the gas buner is and there is a bright glow that lasts for about 5 seconds and goes out and this cycles about every minute. I checked the ohms on the Flame Sensor and it measures 0. The gas valve (house supply) is still turned on and I've cleaned any traces of lint and dust from the discharge duct and from within the fan and dryer enclosure. Any ideas?
