So my thermal fuse went bad, I replaced it and the thermostat that mounts almost next to it. Plugged everything back together returned back cover and plugged it in. Started it and it heated up like normal, about 5 min later everything is as it should be except the dryer is not heating. So, I took the back cover off to observe whats going on in the burner area. It's as fallows:

Igniter glows, gas is lit and burning normally. after a few min. you can hear almost a relay turning off sound and the flame goes out. Everything runs as normal except there is no heat.

Please help!!! No lint in dryer or in vent...this dryer is barely 2yrs. old????

Thank you for replys and help

Having same issue with Kenmore 80 series gas dryer. Heats up for first cycle then shuts off while dryer is still running. Will not heat up again. If I shut the dryer off for 30 mins or so it will heat up again. There is continuity in the thermal fuse and thermostat. Could it be the coils or something else. The ignitor glows but won't fire up. Any help would be great. PS its a Kenmore model #110.76862500.

The dryer coils have failed. They tend to fail as they heat up. Here is a link that should help Gas Dryer Troubleshooting Video

"The question asked in the forum was why a Roper dryer heats up then goes off."

The person responding says CHANGE THE COILS; you offer a link to a video that is useless; the guy in this video tests everything EXCEPT the coils...

Got anything that can help, with Where/How to test, remove/replace those coils?
