The dryer was working fine, then I moved to another house and now it acts like no electricity is reaching the unit. However there is electricity to the unit and it is hot -so that isn't it. I've researched this forum looking for ideas. I've checked both thermal fuses and there is continuity there. The start button and door switch also check out OK. The timer does not make any sound at all so am suspecting this. What else can I check? What can I do to confirm it is the timer before ordering a new one?
Thanks for your help.

Ignore this question. After spending a couple of hours trouble shooting the dryer, I reconnected to original power source and it works fine. Turns out the electrical supply in the new apartment is not a full 220 volts and is not connected properly. An electrician has been called. Sorry.................. But happy!!
