whirlpool gold electric dryer
Model Number: GEW9878JQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
When dryer cycles to cool down mode, it does not cool down. The dryer actually gets hotter. I have checked for blockage in vent and lint screen area and everything is clear. What could be the problem? Thnx for your assistance with this problem.

Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GEW9878JQ0 | AppliancePartsPros.com Here are a couple tech sheets the second one has switch positions http://www.servicematters.com/docs/w...%203978621.pdf http://www.servicematters.com/docs/w...%208299798.pdf I sounds like one of the switches is not operating correctly. Try running the diagnostics to narrow it down. Odds are high that you will have to usea meter and check the switches. Could also be that the control board is acting up but a lot of troubleshooting has to be done before you can move this to the top of the list.
