Maytag gas dryer
Model Number: MDG2500BWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Dryer is heating intermittently. Pull the dryer out from vent and it will heat. Hook up dryer vent and it will heat for awhile, then quit. Vent seems to be clear and blows air. Has been intermittent for a few days.

How far the vent goes and where is the vent outlet?
If the dryer works fine without the vent - no doubt the vent is clogged. Gene.
