I have a Kenmore electric dryer which is not blowing hot air. I have just replaced the heating element, thermostat and the thermal fuse however these haven't solved my problem. It seems that there isn't an electrical signal being sent to the heating element for it to be told to turn on but I'm not certain in my thought process. I need to know if I need to replace the thermal cutoff or another part. Please let me know your thoughts on what direction I need to go from here. Thanks!:)

What is the complete model number of the dryer?

You may want to check if there is 240 VAC at the wall outlet for the dryer. The motor will run on 120 VAC while the heating element needs 240 VAC.

Hi Gene,

The model # is 110.66712694. The dryer has a 240 line run to it as it has since it was installed over 6 years ago. I've checked the breaker and it has a double 120 line for it. It worked fine until this past Sunday. I've replaced a few parts to it already including the heating element, thermal fuse and the thermostat however the dryer isn't blowing hot air. Could the problem be the thermal cutoff? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Yes, it can. But I would not replace any parts without testing them for continuity. Looks like you already spend much more $$$ than it's needed. Can you post which parts you already replaced by using the reference numbers from the diagram?

Also, I'm afraid I did not get clear if you checked for proper voltage at the outlet.
