Just ordered new part for Samsung dryer(cover-filter(u):graceDR Can the dryer be used while i wait to install this part

Your speaking of the little flap that springs up when your remove the filter?
I don't see why that would prevent you from using the machine....
I would recommend having your dryer vent system and duct-work thoroughly cleaned after you replace it.
For that matter it's always a good practice to clean the vent system and ducting every 1 to 2 years depending on use.
