Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/1/2016(UTC) Posts: 4		We have a 1986 Kenmore Gas Dryer Model LG7811XPW that suddenly stopped producing heat. The igniter has continuity (about 69 Ohms) and has no discoloration. It will not glow. The flame sensor has continuity. The thermal sensor has continuity. The solenoid coils both have appropriate resistance. Lint/dust buildup is minor (we keep it clean) Anyone have any thoughts on what to check next??

Whirlpool WP694674 Adjustable Dryer Cycling Thermostat - AppliancePartsPros.com Or even the thermostat / thermister is bad. Whirlpool WP61894 Thermostat - AppliancePartsPros.com They are both located on the exhaust housing.
