Our 14yo Elite 3 gas dryer has a serious amount of funk in the lint screen housing. model 110.928.
Would you be able to to guide me thru removal so that I could give it a good cleaning?
I don't want to disassemble the whole beast just for the lint screen housing.
I have the parts pictorial.
Seems like I need to remove:
3 screws, 41 and 51.
which should make these other parts easily removable?
grill outlet, 58
electrode sensors, 34 (don't see the wires in the pict, or do they just plug in?)
lint screen door, 3
is the spring, 39, retained in the screen door?
housing outlet, 23
and access to the back side (interior) of the lint duct, 45.

Need more digits in your model number to pull this guy up. But if you take the venting off and run it and have some forceful air coming out of it you may not need to clean it and if you do, try a "dryer lint brush" or "lint lizard" instead
