The dryer says it's running and starts to count down, but nothing is happening. The belt is fine, the drum rotates okay, but nothing happens when we hit the start button. no noise at all.

After changing the belt switch(which didn't help so don't waste your money), I decided to change the Dryer Thermister and the Thermal Fuse. Bingo! The parts were relatively inexpensive through Appliancepartspros.com and I saved a lot of money doing it myself.:)
