So we just bought a set from our friend, but the dryer was newer than our old one, so we had to replace the cord to make it work for our outlet, but now it will not heat. We have checked the fuse box and nothing has blown. When switching to the 3 pronged there was no extra ground so we added a ground to it, was this step necessary or is that is what is causing the no heat?
