My gas dryer timer won't advance in the Automatic cycles. The timed dry cycle works okay. It seems to heat okay. I cleaned out dryer of any lint replaced operating thermostat and gas coils. Tested high limit thermostats and thermal fuse for continuity checked ok. Could this be a timer issue even though the timer works in the timed dry cycle. How do i test the contacts in the timer for the automatic cycle. What wires do i have to remove on timer to test with a multimeter.
