My LG dryer has been working, just getting louder recently. I read online LG's are notorious for having lint build up inside causing excessive noise. After watching a how to video this morning, I took it apart. I cleaned out all of the lint inside the dryer & reassembled the unit. Now the dryer will power up, the control panel lights up, but when I push the dial to start the unit, it clicks & nothing happens. I rechecked all the wiring harnesses & they are all connected. What could it be? It worked this morning, now it doesnt.

Took the dryer apart again today. Discovered a wire harness attached to the motor had come loose when I was removing the belt yesterday. Missed it before because it was one I did not purposely disconnect & I was unable to see it once the drum was reattached. Hated that I had to disassemble the dryer again, however I did see a string & some hair wrapped around near the motor that I missed yesterday. Removed it, reassembled the dryer, & now it runs much quieter & smoother than before. Woo-hoo!
