I have a nice GE dryer that I purchased used. The Easy Care and Cottons sections of the timer cycle seem to function properly. In the timed cycle with the Wrinkle Care switch on, the timer stops at the 40 minute mark. If I turn it past 40 minutes and restart, it will not turn off at the off position. With Wrinkle Care switched off, it stops at the 50 minute mark then if turned past 50 and restarted it will stop at the 40 minute mark the same as with Wrinkle Care on. I replaced the timer switch but there was no change in function. I'm trying to figure out what else could cause this? Since the Wrinkle Care switch does have an effect on the timer switch, could it be that or maybe the Fabric Care switch? I'm going to replace those to see but it would be nice if someone already knew what the solution is.
