Our dryer stopped drying and I noticed it was cold inside. I checked the thermistor because I replaced that once before when it didn't heat up. I didn't have continuity through it but when I shorted it out, burner didn't come on and I got an E2 code. I put it back together and it worked for the first load, but the second didn't until I changed the cycle, then it worked again. I'm confused, I don't think the thermistor or thermal fuse would be intermittent like that. What could be causing my problem.

thanks,
Carl
