My door just started saying door open when I shut it. I am not getting any error codes only that. Anyone have a clue what it could be or how to check?

Here are your parts includes a wiring diagram.

Could be a bad door switch.
Check that it's contacts close when the door is shut with a meter.

If you have an interior light, does it go off when you close the door?

Could also be something wrong with the door latch re: not activating the switch correctly.

Worst case scenario is that it could be a bad control board.

I replaced the door switch and not working still. The light does not come on I don't think it ever did. What would be a next step to check from here?
