heat is always on. no control. the timer works and have checked out the temp. control switch. act as if the thermostat won't shut off. have replaced the on at the top of the heater vent and the fuse. sometimes the timer will time down but not shut off

Double check the model number, doesn't appear to be valid.

Model number does not come up at sears parts site. The 110 is a prefix and means it's made by Whirlpool, the next 5 numbers are the Sears part number. Last 3 is date code and version. Never seen a Sears part number start with a zero. Is this a Canadian model? You may have a grounded heat element but I need to see the tech sheet or wiring diagram and can't without a model number that works.

double/double checked and the # is 110 627 121 00 . It is terrible to get old and blind. Just to let you know . have replaced the thermal switch in the top of the heater. the switch in the bottom in the exhaust checks ok the heater part is 6k but can't tell if the other part even works.

I would check for a grounded heat element. If it produces heat even when set to air only, that's a sure sign of a grounded element.
