I am having trouble with the heat in my dryer. The dryer itself works fine. It started about 3 months ago with the dryer giving no problems at all. Now the heat seems to work intermittent. After changing out the relay control, a load of towels were put in the dryer. After 120 minutes they were still damp....Can't seem to pin it down. I think the heat element is coming on but not sure for how long.....

1. checked the vent for clogging
2. 240 volts is being supplied to system
3. checked continuity of sensors
4. dryer coil reads 10 ohms
5. replaced the relay control (165.00 part)

I would try the following first. It will let you monitor the air flow and the exhaust temperature.
Undo the dryer from the exhaust
Run a load
If the load dries correctly then you have a vent problem.
Clean/check the vent system. Make sure the outside louvers open fully.

If you do not want lint in the house.
Take a pair of pantyhose, put one leg into the other and attach this to the dryer exhaust.
Leave enough room behind the dryer so it can blow out like a windsock.
Run a load.

Run the diagnostics.
Measure the thermistor's actual resistance.
