I need to replace the front drum seal on my SAMSUNG DV337AEG/XAA. I tried to get an original part from them - but after a lot of effort and time - their answer was - they don't sell that part - but would be happy to sell me a new drum assembly. I really would prefer not to replace an entire drum assembly $250 just because a felt seal has worn out. Does anyone know of a suitable sub replacement part made by another manufacturer that will work? I was going to try to use Rear Drum Felt Seal with Adhesive; Part Number: AP3093452; MFG Part Number: 239087; Made by: Whirlpool -- but was hoping for a more expert opinion before I waste $42 on a repair that will not work. I appreciate any help on this.
