On the automatic dry cycle the knob/timer will not advance and the dryer will just keep running unless i go down and turn it off. I also think it does not heat up when it should. I took off the little plastic piece and watched it glow but it will not ignite the flame. However, on the timed side of the dryer/knob area, i can turn the knob to 30 mins and the knob/timer will advance and the ignitor will light the flame and the clothes will dry. So it is like only half my timer/knob thing don't work. The automatic dry half won't work (advance) and won't heat up like it should but the other half on the timed side works ok. I would like to narrow down buying parts from the cycling thermostat, or the thermal fuse and/or coils, or just the timer itself. if i buy the timer and it is not the problem can I send this back for a refund?
