hotpoint dryer making screeching noise
Model Number: DLB1550PLLWH Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
Used hotpoint dryer makes high screeching noise when used. Noise dies down for a little bit & then it's up high again. Could it be a bearing that's going out? Any suggestions would be very welcomed!

Most likely the problem is a bad rear bearing. I would check the front glides as well. The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it.
