About three years ago. Dryer started not drying clothes. Under warranty repairman came in and replaced the heater assembly. Full of lint and scorch. 2 years go by. Dryer starts tripping breaker after anywhere from three minutes to 10 minutes running. Second guy comes out (warranty expired) and tests continuity and replaces a switch on assembly. Works great for 1 year. Now again tripping breaker. I ordered a whole new heater assembly and replace it. While replacing it checked and lint in very minimal, exhaust tube clean and not blocked. Proudly replace heater assembly and rebuild dryer and the silly thing still kicks with in 3-5 minutes. Breaker and electric panel in basement was replaced about two to three years ago for unrelated generator installation. When I run on airfluff. Runs for hours. I don't get what else could be wrong with the dryer heat. I thought I replaced everything that can be wrong with the heater portion. What's left?!? What am I missing? I don't want to have to call an electrician, but I think I am going to have to. Hard to imagine something wrong with a two year old panel and breaker. But what is left? Thoughts as the laundry piles up and my wife's patience wears thin??
