My Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer squeals loudly when operating. I have already opened the back panel, cleaned out the vent and fly wheel areas. It did immediately seem to stop the squeal then started again but not as loudly. Is there another way to open the cabinet to check belts and lubricate points?

You need to replace the 2 rollers, the idler pully and the belt. They come in one kit, all together. It is cheap, and an easy repair. The front has to come off, and the tub comes out. The 2 rollers are what the drum glides on, and they are ususally the culprits. But since you are in there, it is wise to replace the belt, and the idler pully. I am sure they are both worn as well.
