I Have A Kenmore Dryer That Won't Shut Off. The Timer Advances And The Cool Down Works Ok, But At The End Of The Cycle It Continues To Run. If I Open The Door It Stops, But If I Push The Start Button The Drum Starts Up Again. I Installed A New Timer But It Didn't Cure The Problem.

Serial Mc3543538. Won't Shut Off!

Check the power resistor near the timer. Should read 4000-5000 ohms. Looks like this.

Eric, Thank You So Much. I Ordered The Part You Said Might Fix The Problem I Had With My Dryer. After It Came I Installed It And It Cured My Problem. The Total Cost Was Only $7.49. Again Thank You So Much.
