first time users I recently had a failure with my gas dryer. The error code indicated a TS error which the manual said was a shorted thermistor. I ordered a new thermistor and replace it but still got a TS error. I checked the resistance of the old and the new thermistors and they aer both around 12-13 k and change resistance with temperature. Manual calls for 12k ohms at 77 deg. F. I went into the "System check mode" and was receiving a 0 on the "sensor bar short" check. I assume this is the thermistor reading but it is not very clear in the manual. I checked the wiring to the themistor for continuity by shorting the leads at the themistor, looked good 0 ohms. I than checked the system check again with the short still on the wiring and still got a 0 (open) indication. I then put the shorting wire right on the control board connector and still indicating a open. Very confused?? Please help
