Ignitor/bracket
Model Number: AGM459W Brand: Speed Queen Age: More than 10 years
The ignitor on above mentioned gas dryer burnt out and I see that style is no longer availabe. The replacement part I'm finding on your web-site (AP2402540) looks to be different. My quesion is will the bracket on the new part match up with the bracket on the original part??

The dryer igniter with the part number AP2402540 should work but it could be some difficulties to install it.
Instead I would recommend to order the igniter with the part number AP3109451 together with the mounting bracket (AP2041955). This is a round igniter (the same shape as the old one) and together with the new bracket it should work a few more years. Gene.
