This old dryer is not starting up. It has been "whining" for a while about every couple seconds as if a heavy spot in the drum puts too much load on the motor. Now it tries to start but just hums a bit, won't turn over. I've replaced belts and door switches etc. over the years and I bought it used as a back up (needed their washer, they sold set) years ago. This looks like it was made in 1988 or 2000 based on serial number (SZ201821G) and GE's website. I'm thinking more like 88. I'm thinking it's time to move on if it is a motor problem. Any worth in trying to reapair? Thanks.
