Our Dryer does not run a complete cycle...for example on the "Automatic-Knits-Delicates" selection, it never advances in the "Press Saver" section of the cycle...it seems like it takes a bit longer for clothes to dry, I assume this is because it isn't running a complete cycle. My first thought was to replace the timer....but somewhere here I read that that is not a part that goes out often...so not sure where to start.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.

So, you saying the timer does not advance on it's own? What about timed dry cycle, does timer advance when set to that cycle? If so, you probably just need to clean the moisture sensing bars on the grille where the lint filter goes.
