After replacing both thermostats, and both coils, and checking for vent obstruction, the timer still does not advance in the auto modes. The burner cycles on and off but only shuts off for 20 seconds before firing again. Dryer heats up nicely but I can not get the timer to move in Auto cycles. Is there any other component I need to look at? Is there a way to test the timer or could I just need a new one.

Thanks,
