While trying to remove the bad dryer motor on the Whirlpool LGR7646EZO dryer, ran into a little bit of snag. REmoved the rear retaining clip and put a 13/16" open wrench on the (plastic) nut and a socket wrench on the drive shaft of the motor and turned it clockwise while holding on the wrench at the back and pushing it counterclockwise. I coul not disengage the motor, When i turn the drive shat clock wise the back nut also turns to rotate. And I am unable to remove the motor. Any suggestions. Can this be done by accessing the fan from the rear? Any suggestion would be a big help. Right now stuck.
