When starting the dryer it makes a humming sound then wont start. Checked the drum it is free spinning. If you hold the door switch in and start the dryer and spin the drum by hand it starts the drum spinning and works fine. Thinking it could be a belt and or a tensioner problem?

I cannot find any info on the given model number, please check it.

Since the unit runs OK once the drum starts rotating odds are that the motor is toast.

One thing to check is that the motor is not clogged solid with lint. Sometimes this can jam the centrifugal switch on the motor, keeping it in the activated position. The motor then does not have the start winding connected.
