Kenmore he3 has no power after surge
Ok, so the other night the neutral leg in the power line to the house broke, unbeknownst to us, and the dryer was running. Well now there is no power in the dryer. Have power to the terminal block: 230v across legs, 113v @ the red and 118v @ the black. There's continuity at the p1 block between L1& the p1-5 terminal but no voltage between p1-1& p1-4. Was told via live chat it was most likely the wiring harness due to the voltage readings, but according to the tech sheet in the dryer, the control board is bad. Would like some input as to which course I need to take. Don;t want to spend money on the wrong thing as most electrical items are non-refundable.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.
