After the replacement of the motor in my dryer yesterday the lint duct does not fit the way it should. When screwed back in it no longer makes contact with the blower wheel allowing the (cold) air to come in from outside and for lint to blow on the floor. Before the repair the lint duct fit into the blower. It's like the blower/motor sits back a 1/2" give or take farther than what it did before the repair. Is that possible? How do I fix the problem properly? Thanks for any and all advice.
