Dryer will not heat. It tumbles and cycles but it will not emit any heat.
Model Number: DPGT750GC1PL Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a GE Profile Gas Dryer model DPGT750GC1PL which has been not heating recently. I have unplugged it several times and waited approx 20 minutes and plug back in and it will work for approx 30 mins of a 50 minute cycle. I have cleaned the lint vents, output of the large silver hose from the dryer and the dryer hose (silver) as well.
I bought a thermal assembly because of a recommendation from Sears appliance help line. I was wondering if anyone knew how to install this part and if this is even the problem. Please help....I didn't want to shell out the $175 for a repair tech to come out. Ads By Google Related Models
