Dryer Won't Start
Model Number: LER4634EQ2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Dryer Simply Won't Start. The Timer Appears To Be Working Normally, But The Start Button Doesn't Seem To Engage Anything. Could It Be The Start Button Or A Resistor Gone Bad?

The first thing I would do is check the thermal fuse (#23 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram) for continuity.
The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test using either an analog meter or a digital meter – How to check continuity with Ohmmeter. - The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3132867 Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LER4634EQ2 Gene.
