What a long week....My Profile Dryer (DPSB6133D2WW) is taking 2 hours or more to dry a load! In effort to check heating element, I ran the dryer for a few seconds with the door open and button held to check element...I noted only a faint glow. So, installed replacement heating assembly, cleaned blower assembly, exhaust pipe and discharge pipe. However, upon checking continuity of old element, I found it to be good-both elements!!?....so, back to trouble shooting.

I checked all thermostats, thermistor, safety thermostat and connections with ohm meter and found no issues. Disassembled again to verify all connections tight...everything OK. Attempted to dry load with only minimal heat...2hrs per load-barley warm!

So, I replaced everything: WE4M160, WE4M181, WE4M137, WE4M216 and WE4M275. Started the dryer and was very surprised that it did NOT resolve the heating issue!!?? The temperature is just slightly above warm and metal back panel behind the heating element is warm vs. very hot, as I discovered years ago when I rubbed up against it! No change in heat output.

I have verified 240v supply and disassembled the dryer to make certain there were no loose connections..everything snug!

I have spent hours online attempting to find information on what my problem may be..perhaps it is so simple, I have overlooked? The only other electrical component which I have not checked is the Electronic Board. I did make certain all the connections were snug and did not notice any discolored components or evidence of component failure in progress. Since this controls all activity of the dryer, is there a method to confirm it is issuing the proper 'work orders' for the heating element?? Other than lack of heat, the dryer functions great. I have not been able to locate any discussion or diagnostics for the Electric Board.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and suggestions on solving my Profile mystery!!

In advance, Thanks for any suggestions!!

Jamie
