Hello,

I have a dryer that will turn on but it won't heat. It says that its a 120-240V dryer, and I'm running it at 120. The heating element has 120V on both ends of it but when the unit is turned off it has 10 ohm of resistance so I'm not sure why there's no voltage drop across the heating element. The only thing I can figure is that there's an open circuit somewhere so no current is getting pulled but I think I've checked all the fuses and they are good.
