I have an LG dryer model num: DLE2532W. When I hit the start button it won't start. It makes a noise then shuts off. If I open the dryer and spin the drum and then close the door and hit the start button it runs fine. Would this just be a loose dryer belt?

Could be bad door switch. Could be bad touchpad or main control. Could be bad start up windings in the motor or bad capacitor or wire harness. Could be a bad belt, seized tensioner or roller/s seized also it could be a bad or warped drum jamming the process their known for real bad cheaply thin metal drums if it is the drum call LG they i believe have a 10 year warranty on it and it's a real common problem. It's an LG there made cheap and break easy unfortunately. Best bet is to call a service tech these machines can be difficult even for techs to figure out. Here's some video's to help
