After I run a load of clothes in my dryer, they dry just fine. But if I put a load in immediately after and try to start dryer, the motor just hums. Eventually after about 15 minutes it will start and work just fine.

Here are some issues I found:

1. If I hold the door button while I spin the drum and press start, it works just fine.

2. About 1 month ago, the dryer was squealing horribly, but the squealing as since stopped, then the motor problem started. Perhaps I killed the motor by not fixing the squealing which was perhaps the drum rollers.

I assume the motor is about to go. I really like the simplicity of this dryer and would rather replace motor than get another used dryer that may just break in a few months.

Could it just be the belt, and drum rollers/pully? Should I try just replacing those first? Or has everything got to go?

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like your capacitor or startup windings are going bad on the motor. Check inside your unit and see if you have anything worn that's causing friction to where it doesn't move freely.
Here's your parts and watch some youtube video's on troubleshooting your capacitor and motor windings, good luck
