denman is a splendid one to behold

Here are your parts
Parts for Kenmore Dryer 11060852990 - AppliancePartsPros.com

If you go to the Sears parts site they have part breakdown diagrams which may be useful to you. Unfortunately they do not share theses with other parts vendors.

I cannot find a wiring diagram for this unit.
If you do not have it take a look in the control console often they store one in this area.

First I would check the power as the motor etc works off of half the line (120 volts) but the heating coil requires the full 240 volts.
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.
Be careful as 240 volts is lethal !!!

If the power is good unplug the unit and at least one wire at the heating coil and measure it with a meter. They are usually in the 8 to 12 ohms range.

Disconnecting one side while measuring ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path.

If OK check the high limit cut-off/fuse on the heater assembly. It is the upper one. It should be 0 ohms.
If it is open (infinite ohms) get back to us as there are other things you should check before replacing it.

If OK, check the hi-limit thermostat. It should be 0 ohms. It is the lower one.

Any further tests will require a wiring diagram or you will have to trace the wires.
