Model Number: sde3606a Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
My maytag will start, tumble, and blow air. The problem is the air isnt hot. I found the model # of the dryer online, and saw that there are three different sub models but the heating element part # is the same on all three if that's the problem. any assistance is greatly appreciated

The first thing I would do is check for 240 VAC to the dryer. While the motor needs only 120 VAC, the heating element needs 240 VAC.
Gene.
