I had a bad heating element in an older Admiral electric dryer. I replaced it along with a new high limit thermostat. Now the thermal fuse is blowing. Could the new parts have a higher temperature rating than the old parts? Could that be causing the thermal fuse to blow? If so how do I test that and how do I find a matching thermostat & thermal fuse for a 15 year old dryer?

Thanks, BernJoy
