HI There.. Sooo glad to find this site.
So I am trying to replace the control board for this Frigidaire dryer, as I have tried everything to get the ER 68 Beeping to go away. I know how to take off top of unit, remove the front of digital display and I can disconnect most of the wires from the old board. All good so far. BUT all the way to the left of the board are 2 wires that seem soldered to the old board. I'm looking to see if there is a clip (like the rest of the wires), but no can see. Id I have to solder something, I don't think I can do this. Oh, by the way, I am an 66 year old yound grandmother and do most repairs in my house. Only things I cannot do are electric, and auto. Thanks for the help!

Oh, and I found this previous solution, but what about the soldered wires??

"This one is not to hard to change. First unplug the unit, then remove the top of the machine by removing the screws on the back of it and sliding it backwards. Next you will see the screws holding the front control panel onto the unit. Remove the screws and unplug the wires from the board. If you need to, draw a diagram of how the wires are on the old board. Remove the screws from the old board and replace it with the new one. Reattach all of your wire in the correct place and reassemble your dryer. Here is your part number for the board.

Having the same issues and going to try to replace the board, how did you get those last wires off?

Thanks!

Excellent question as it took me a few hours to figure it out. Thought I needed to solder something. As it turns out, the 2 connectors are just pushed into the metal sleeve, and you can wiggle them out. Carefully move them back and forth like one at a time... and they will loosen and come out.
It whole deal worked great! Can't believe I did it.
If you need more details, let me know:)

Do you remember the placement of the wires? Like which one went where?
