Frigidaire Dryer Too Hot and Constant Heat?

My dryer has been getting too hot, and even when I set to no heat its heating. I am an electrician/hvac tech so I have naturally been troubleshooting it but dryers are something I don't work on everyday. A few months ago I installed a new belt, rear bearing assembly, blower wheel and heating element assembly. The vent is all clear, the heating element is good (no breaks or shorts), and the blower wheel is clean. The thermostat has continuity with the dryer off while I have it all apart. I can't remember but I think the thermostat came with the element assembly when I replaced it. However, the thermistor control on the blower does not have any continuity. Could this be the problem? I am not sure how the thermistor control works with the circuit board and the thermostat.
