LG AIO Ventless W/D: Water in dryer, washer ok
Model Number: WM3987HW Brand:
1 - 5 years
This is an LG ventless All-in-One Washer/Dryer, WM3987HW, two years old. Machine signals completion of dryer cycle with no error code, but now leaves clothes in several inches of hot, soapy water. This occurs regardless if timed or auto dry, both with and without previous wash cycle. Meanwhile, washer cycle still works perfectly on both wash and rinse/spin options; clothes are practically spun dry, no soap left.
Just FYI, machine had extensive clean-out several weeks ago of circulation and drain pumps (and obviously the filter), drain hose, bellows and both sets of tubing leading from the boot seal. I've now wiped out the condenser coil area/fan (just a dusting of lint) and removed a massive lint build-up where the condenser hose re-enters the drum area.
Suggestions on what would cause the washer cycle to rinse/spin but not the dryer cycle? TIA.
