LG Dryer.... no heat
Model Number: DLE5977b Brand: -other- Age: 5 - 10 years
Dryer initially had intermittently worked and not worked, no heat.
I have checked all of the t-stats and thermistor, all check ok.
I am unsure of what the ohm values should be on the heating element
they check as follows
top to bottom 20
top to middle 20
bottom to middle 40
notes; the unit is clean and unblocked and the power checks good.
Wondering if it is the control board if these heat element readings are ok.
The only reference I have found is a generic video that said if the readings were between 0 and 50 it was ok.
thanks in advance!
